Infinix, a Hong-Kong based brand which was founded by Transsion Holdings in 2012, launched their new budget-smartphones, the Infinix S4.
The device comes with a triple-camera setup, a huge battery, a great selfie camera and a decent processor at just ₹8,999. The device is decent for an average user who does not play games that much as the processor and RAM are really very low. Other than that, the Camera and all other stuff really worth at that price range.

The 2GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 Cortex A53 Processor and PowerVR GE8320 GPU is a decent one. It does not have that much power and it won’t satisfy you but at the price point of ₹8,999 it is really a valuable one.
There are many other devices available on the market which are providing you with really some of the most powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon Processors. Now it’s all your choice, which device you will go for!
The device comes with Dual-VoLTE support which is a great step. There is no other budget-smartphone which has Dual-VoLTE support. The device does not come with Gyroscope support which means you won’t be able to connect it with a VR Headset. Also, the fingerprint scanner is not that fast, devices at the same price have a much faster fingerprint scanner.
Infinix S4 Camera
The company themselves have focused on the camera more than anything on the device. At the price of ₹8,999 they are providing triple-camera setup.
13MP f/1.8 + 8MP + 2MP Triple-rear cameras with quad-LED flash and video recording support of 1920 x 1080 @ 30fps. On the top of the Camera Interface, it has a bar containing Flash, HDR and some other options. There are a bunch of features like Pro Mode, Burst Mode, Panorama, Portrait Mode and Wide-Angle Mode options. The Primary Camera is capable of recording Full HD videos and the overall video quality is also great at that pricing.
32MP f/2.0 Front-facing camera with screen flash for clicking great selfies. The selfie camera is really a decent one!
Gaming and Battery Life
Battery life is decent, you can get 7-10 hours of moderate to heavy usage and will give us 24 hours of mixed usage daily. It took us approx. 3.5 hours to charge the 4000mAh battery.
The gaming performance is not that smooth. You will get a good gaming experience with low-end games but you won’t get a good experience in high-end games. Let me tell you, running PUBG on this device will not only heat-up the device and drain hell a lot of battery but also ruin your gaming experience.
That’s all about the Infinix S4, stay tuned to TekhXpert for more quality stuff!
